SYNOPSIS

Young and naive Chinese girl Linn comes to New York alone to earn money for her family. She works as an undocumented laborer at an underground gourmet, dreaming of reuniting with her parents. But jealousy and possessiveness shatter her precious friendships in this high-pressure work environment. Exhausted and mentally drained, Linn realizes that her parents never planned to come to America. In the darkest moment, having lost all connections, Linn must find the strength to survive when there seems to be no hope left.
